By the looks of playerbase the game does look a little bit dead. But there were some announcements about WW3 dev teaming up with MY.GAMES.
Hopefully they will revive the game, rumors going around that game will become free-to-play.
That I think would give huge boost in playerbase for the game. As long as they keep the content coming through they would probably have bigger playerbase. Will see.

How’s it going guys. I hope you’re all doing well today and uh uh today. I’m gonna talk about a game called world war iii basically world iii is a multiplayer military first person shooter set in a modern global conflict and um enjoy the fight in massive infantry battles.
Gained advantage over the enemy with personalized weapons vehicles and drones experience through tactical combat in the global struggle. Where every battle counts. So the game was released in 2018.
That’s about what two almost three years from now and uh. If you look at the steam chart the game was kind of doing okay at the drop. I think it was their lectures.
I’m not sure probably i need to get myself uh more familiarized with the game itself on its history and stuff like that well this video is not going to be about what happened to the game studios going to be about how is it doing now and uh. What the devs are planning for the video game at least at the moment. But no no anymore you can’t buy this game you were able to buy before august this year on steam.
But you can’t buy anymore. But servers are still left open and i will tell you why a bit later so what’s going on what’s really happening with the game. So basically what’s going on right now is uh the world war iii will be revamping and expanding with backing from a new publisher.
Says development studio at the farm. 51. And the farm.
51 will be partnered with my games. I think they are already and if you know my games. They are known for shooter warface um.
Yeah. They i think they’re teaming up and uh doing something doing something good hopefully um. I would say maybe.
It’s a comeback for this game. Really i’m not really sure it might be possibly. I really have heard rumors about free to play so they might make the game free to play that would be kind of a good thing.
I guess that would revive the game maybe it depends really on the updates and stuff. And how much the content is pumping through and how interesting the game gets um and yeah basically and um about when i said you can’t buy anymore basically they removed it from steam uh. No they didn’t remove this they removed it from for sale on steam.
It’s still there. But you can’t buy anymore. So they removed it on 13 pog is this year um.
But if you already have had the game before that if you bought. It you will be still able to play on early access um and the servers are gonna be open and you just continue playing as normal. But if you are a new player uh you’re interested in this game.
You’ll just have to wait till. They release it again for a sale and hopefully by then it’s gonna be either free to play like i have heard or it’s gonna be just a better game um. And uh.
Yeah basically uh. What can we expect uh for updates. Before early access ends in world war ii.
Is released. So some improvements and new features may be released for current world war three players to test and try out. But this may not happen immediately as we as as they don’t want to uh share the unfinished content um.
I’m kind of sorry if some of this information sounds a bit weird because i’m reading the articles basically just doing a research video for you i will uh post. All the article links in the description as well if you want to find out a bit more uh yourself uh. But for example if the game becomes free to play right then um what’s gonna happen to the people that already paid money for it so.
Their plan is this is this is another article on their um website. I think. It was so.
The question was if people purchased the early access version of world war three on steam will they receive anything within the game switches to a free to play model and by this sentence that’s i think this is the indicator that the game is gonna become a free to play game bro. We shall see on that in the future. Really because you never know actually so.
The answer is early x’s players will be recognized as veterans and receive in game content worth at least the price they paid for world war iii if not more regardless of our distribution model and in game purchases made during their lexus period will either be transferred to the final release or compensated as in game currency. I’m not sure about the worth in the game on that but i guess. That’s at least something um hopefully.
That’s good enough. I guess. I’m not sure really um and yeah.
That’s that’s that’s as far as i know that’s how much i’ve found information as i said i will post in the articles in the description. But i feel best moments and uh just powerful content really and he got he’s got a video uh posted in 2019 about world war iii and uh the title was uh did developers kill the game or something i will post the link for the video in the description. If you want to find out what really happened to the game. And yeah.
That’s pretty much it uh. I will be probably i will have some background clips going on as well from the game uh that the gameplay is from today’s date. It’s not an old gameplay footage or whatever.
It’s right now the servers aren’t so populated populated as they were before obviously when the game release really. I think i did put steam charts on the screen as well and uh. Yeah and uh.
I think the rest of the video is going to be just uh. Some clips of me pulling off some good moments. I guess or something like that so basically just the footage of the game uh.
