Today. I’m to be be reviewing stardew valley. Developed by concerned aide.
And published by cuttlefish game for playstation mac and pc. And soon need attendance with but first i’m going to enjoy a tender little spoonful of flashbang hot sauce. The sauce that almost got burnt entertained by the tsa.
Oh it’s really hot okay whoo okay started valley is a game. I really love it’s a farming family counting our pg.
It begins with you the main character suffering through your office jobs. When suddenly is summoned to your grandfather’s deathbed and he leaves you comes along unattended family farm to revive and bring back to life. So you travel to your farms.
And your adventure begins because they clear away your land start developing your crops. Maybe. It’s an animal to make some friends oh my god it’s so hot to my throat.
I don’t know how i’m gonna make it through as so much to say okay my character like all of the characters that i get to name in all the video games i play called a space and my farm is the ass farm. I’m currently on the ninth day of winter in year two defense. I’m crying spent about 61 hours playing this game.
It is really hot in my mouth. It’s so easy to lose days hours weeks playing this game.
And i really have already be play day by day and attend to different tasks around your farm in your community. There’s a really nice sense of accomplishment that comes at the end today. I personally love games that give me a sense of purpose and a sense of order in the world.
So i come all in i make to do lists on my phone for things i want to do in this game. I read the forums and the subreddit in my spare time my favorite thing my favorite thing is between the seasons. When i get to use graph paper to plan out all the crops i’m gonna plant on my farm it’s so fun let’s stop crop time for some crop talk um.
I really prefer crops that you can harvest time and time again and i like to plant them in the quality fertilizer. The crops that we harvest over and over again to me makes the cost of the quality fertilizer worth. It because they’re more likely to get many gold star crops over the course of your season.
So hot on my list. It’s so so hot spring.
It’s a wonderful time of year. My favorite crops in the spring. Our green beans because they keep giving you beans i highly recommend saving up some money for when the egg festival rolls around so you can get yours awesome strawberry seeds boy that’s a nice sign crops also like meat and cauliflower.
It’s a big money crop. You do like to keep planting em every time because there’s a single harvest crop. But big money and cauliflower big money kayo is also a nice quick turn if you’re looking to make some money perhaps to save some money for the egg vegetable moving on to summer summertime summer.
I’m so into corn corn is my effing jam because cord. You can plant it in the summer. And it lasts.
All the way through until the end of the fall. This is so good.
I also really love blueberries berries in general seem to be a big play in this game. I love hops or my favorite trellis crop of the summer time. And i couldn’t not mention hot peppers as a very lucrative and might i also say attractive crop makes your farm looks it looks real.
Good melons also a big moneymaker. Again you have to keep replanting them and star fruits especially once you craft your crafted yourself and tags make yourself a damn star fruit one it’s splendid and very lucrative in the fall your core is still rollin man. You’re harvesting corn.
All day. Long. Cranberries are also great love eggplants of grapes of my favorite trellis crops.
Some pumpkins. It’s a big money and your pumpkins you might be asking yourself what do i do in the winter time i’ll tell you you should go missing fishing is very difficult.
But you’re going to have to you’re gonna have to get better at it you’re just gonna have to invest some time and suck at fishing also get on down in that mine get right hold down. There you can get all the ores that you need to smell the bars. So that you can make sprinklers and become an ultimate farm mogul also recommend in the wintertime that sometimes tap in your trees galleries of building materials.
So you can develop buildings on your farm forage for some dang old crystal fruits for sure and then maybe buy some some animals to be your friends. The animals very important to use all of them at least once noble per day because then they’re going to give you better good to turn into cloth and cheese and mating great let’s talk about the community tender. You needn’t go around them for it foreign all around the town fish for everything gather all of your crops create all of your artisan goods.
So that you can revive the community center and you get little rewards along the way hey goes my truck so like that was a game changer for me that being said some rewards in this game. Do feel insignificant for the amount of work you pit put in you spend all this time gathering. These artifacts to get to gunther in the library.
Then it gives you like this little thing and this is i don’t want to ruin. It for you.
But it’s like um okay wow. Thanks cancer. But to focus only on the rewards.
That you get would be to disregard the joy that comes in the process of gathering foraging and developing all of these different products. It’s the journey not the destination. One thing that i haven’t really touched on in this review or really in my gameplays and being super.
Honest is that you are able to romance and become friends with people in the town the the tiny steps. I have taken in that category. The stories are very complex.
And there are some like handle it things happening in this little town and just some things that some complex story and the really touching stories that you wouldn’t expect to find in such an adorable seemingly simple game. I’m wrapping it up here.
I’m also feeling okay. Like i’m feeling pretty good um. So my final comments um.
I love playing this game. Because to me. It’s about being immersed in the vision abusive of unconcern age.
He created everything in this game down to the music. Which is incredible. I listen to it when i’m not going to came to but it’s just so amazing to be really immersed in his vision.
A singular vision and to experience this platform that allows me to achieve my vision and my dreams to some games you play. And you just feel like they’ve been focus group to death and there’s a ton of creative compromises that have had to happen.
But this is a bad experience for me feels very pure and for that reason. I love it very much it’s a happy escape for me like i said of some 61 hours. And i’m nowhere near done.
So i give this game. 5. On 5 hot peppers and i give this song.
