Is going on everyone. It is naraku here and before you guys skip around the the video. Before you go and just try to find the resource that you’re to find just wait a second.
I have a whole outline that’s gonna help you find it but anyways before you get into this video. I just want to say thank you guys for the support. And i hope you guys are all excited for ark extinction.
I have so many more videos to come. But in this video. Today.
We’re gonna be talking about every resource location. Where to find every resource that you need to build a base and survive so right here on screen right now those are all the times what location and to the right of them you can see what resource is actually there. So you can skip around and let’s get right into it extinction resource guide.
So like i said use that little key at the beginning to find what you need to find and what part of the video you want to watch just so that you don’t have to watch the whole thing. But first. We’re gonna start at the city here sorry about the gameplay it might be a little bit laggy.
It’s just because my pc. I didn’t like optimize it for extinction. I just made this video as soon as i could.
But i tried to you know reduce the lag a little bit. But um anyways so first we’re gonna look at the city. So we have crystals and metal nodes so metal and crystals both spawn here and it’s kind of rare.
But to be honest. The city is probably the best bet.
If you want to get a lot of resources. There’s so many resources here compared to the other spots at least. So it’s kind of like aberration.
How there’s not that many resources everything’s very scattered. But right here we have some crystals. This is the location that’s the gps coordinates and i mean there’s not that many to be honest.
But this is the biggest clump that i could find along just in this whole ravine at that location or at the gps coordinates. I just gave you at those coordinates. There are so many crystals just along the walls of this little ravine as well as a lot of metal nodes.
So this spot right. Here is probably the best spot on the map or one of the best spots to get metal. It’s right in the middle of the city.
It’s in this little ravine that i found i already showed the coordinates. But i will show them again in a second here. But here are the crystal as well there’s just so much here in this little ravine as well as beavers.
So i was trying to find some cementing paste here. I know there is cement and paste that will spawn because when there are beavers. They will make dams and you get cementing paste along with co ceo pearls.
I’m not sure if they did spawn in here. But just know that when there are beavers. There are cementing pastes.
So go check your map there will definitely be beaver dams. There but next next up you want to find these things so these they when you kill them they drop a ton of really good resources.
So i’m just spawning in a sword here so i can just really kick quickly kill it. But um they drop oil they drop element like little element dust as well as electronics so look at that pure oil some scrap metal electronics and element dust just pure electronics guys you don’t even need the silica pearls or salesy or however you pronounce it you don’t even need them they give you just the electronics. Which is amazing along with the element dust.
But next up here we have the chitin or chitin. However you guys want to pronounce it i always pronounce it the wrong way. But um anyways the easiest way to get this which you’re gonna need it for saddles is just going around and killing pull.
Most scorpions. There’s a ton there’s pomos. There’s a rainy.
Oh. There’s just a lot of things that can drop this for you if you’re looking for that so that’s the city right. There that’s all the resources that that it has in it and pretty much guys.
There’s almost every resource. That’s the that’s the main spot in the map. That has the most resources out of all the spots.
So go there if you need resources like i said. The element dust you can create that into element. So obviously it doesn’t drop element it just drops the dust for the element but next up we’re gonna go into the snow biome so the snow biome if you guys live here it is very hard to survive here like there’s just so little resources like i was flying around the map for what felt like ever and i could not find that many resources so i was looking on mountains looking on the sides of mountains in crevasses.
I was looking everywhere. And i kind of found out that on top of the mountains. There’s at least a dozen mountains in this little snow biome.
That’s where you’re gonna find the most metal. There’s not that much there’s probably only four or five nodes on that little the peak of the mountain.
So if you guys want metal just go to the top of the mountains in the snow biome. I didn’t give a specific location because there on every single mountain so just go there what i did find though was this little area or spot. That had a little bit of metal at least more than all the mountains so i’m gonna reveal that in a second here but before i reveal that i’m gonna talk to you you guys about the cementing paste bond.
So once again there are some more beavers that i found here i didn’t find any dams. That’s because i just spawned in a map. But there will definitely be a cementing paste.
If there are beavers and all over the map as well or at least in the snow biome part of the map. There is a lot of pelt so if you guys looking for pelt just kill some woolly. Rhinos.
Kill woolly mammoths. Anything you want and they will drop pail almost everything drop spout here as well as some crystals. I didn’t really i didn’t know what the fragmented grain gems are used for but they’re kind of but they look like crystals.
But a bluish tint here on the screen. And that’s the location by the way. If you guys are looking for it.
But right next to this location. There’s also normal crystals. If you guys need that as well.
But i kind of found that this snow biome isn’t that good for resources like this is the best spot for metal that i found like this probably maybe half a dozen nodes here not even with some crystal. But this is the best spot right here. If you guys want to build up near here that’s the best spot for metal.
But um to be honest i would not recommend building the snow biome just a little friendly tip here just me looking at it there’s not much stuff there guys. It’s really hard to survive.
There are these really hard to beat creatures. This it’s just really difficult and unless you have a quetzalcoatlus funds in the snow biome. But let’s move on to the next one here we have the wastelands so the wastelands like it kind of says in the name.
It’s just wastelands just nothing really here. So it’s very very large. The wasteland makes up more than half.
The map and here in the wastelands does not that many resources like every now and then you might find one metal node and some crystal. But for the most part there’s no like huge metal spot at least. I haven’t found any spot.
Yet. Which is just like that and i searched the wastelands for so long. But what i did find there was a really good spot for obsidian and obsidian seem to be very.
I guess hard to find on the map. So i found some obsidian here in the wastelands. If you go near the rivers.
You will find a lot of obsidian in oil nodes and all that good stuff. But um. There’s also some crystal there as well but here at this location.
There are some oil nodes and it looks like the like lake is made out of oil. It’s very creepy. I don’t even know how to describe it.
But it is very dangerous so if you do come here to get oil make sure you are on a very fast and strong bird. But let’s move on to the red zone here so the red zone.
I don’t know the official name i might be the red zone that’s just what i call it because it’s freaking super red. But this place it has some more oil nose here not that many dinos here as well. So you guys can come here.
And be a little more safe. But uhm the oil it’s very useful because you guys are gonna need gasoline so that’s why i’m showing all these oil spots just because oil is very useful those are the chords once again. But also in this spot.
There’s a lot of other things. If you just look around there’s not many dinos and there’s a lot of different resources that are very useful so there are these things i believe it’s like the red crystallized sap. If you guys need to know that i just put it on there real quick.
But next up we have the metal and obsidian for the red zone. Look at this this is probably the best spot on the map. If you guys want to build up with a ton of metal look at all the metal.
There is so much if you guys want to build up go here. I haven’t seen any corrupted dinos here there might be i’m not really sure i’m pretty sure they only spawned in the wasteland. But there might be some that wandering that can you know break metal.
But anyways next is the desert. So the desert just like the snow biome. It’s very you know limited to the resources that it gives so i found some chitin or chitin.
However you guys pronounce. It there’s a little bit here. If you kill some of the scorpions and stuff.
You will get some of that but other than that i scoured the whole map just like the snow biome. There was not a lot of stuff until i found this cave right here.
So this is the jackpot so this cave literally has every resource. That is very hard to get so it has chitin and organic polymer and some really good weapons. So.
If you kill some of these mantises. You will get like electric prods and a ton of metal tools. Which is very useful as well as some in inorganic polymer and i know organic polymer is very hard to get so that’s why you want to go here along with some silk.
If you guys want silk for a whip or something i don’t know i thought i’d just throw it in there. But that’s the gps coordinates for that cave where you can kill the things. The mantises and get organa polymer.
But let’s move on to the metal spawns in this location. So this is the best metal spawn. I could find to be honest.
It’s not that good it has maybe half a dozen not even metal nodes so definitely don’t you don’t want to build up in the desert guys. If you’re thinking about it don’t do it it’s not worth it to be honest. There are so many other spots like the city is the best spot for all resources and the red zone is pretty good too.
But let’s move on to the forest. This is the most noob friendly or beginner friendly location. If you guys want to build up so there’s a lot of cementing paste here i saw a lot of beavers.
So if you guys go down to this location or the on the gps. You can see it there’s a lot of cp here. So as you can see there’s at least half a dozen beavers there they those are all gonna provide dams.
Which you can get so co pearls and cementing paste from so that’s the location. I’m at right now but now we’re gonna look at the rest of the map and the rest of the map was pretty much just vacant.
There wasn’t that many resources this spot right here. I’m looking at you can kind of see it it doesn’t have a lot of metal. But it has the most metal that i found so it has little river.
It has a little bit of metal nodes around. But it’s not really worth it for big tribes you know so then the last thing. I want to talk about here is the gacha so this thing it can produce like literally silk flint organic polymer.
So many different things as you just saw it can produce it so all you have to do is feed it some rocks or whatever you want in front of it and then it will eat the rocks and poop out a purplish shard or i don’t know the color. It can change different colors. But what you do with the shard you open it in the inventory.
And it will give you whatever type of resources of resource that you set it to in its inventory. So let’s say you said organic polymer. It’ll pop out some organic polymer every few minutes.
But um. Those things are really opie make sure you guys go and tame. Those that’s why i put them in the forest biome.
Because that’s where they spawn. But that’s pretty much it for this video today guys if you found it helpful make sure to leave a like i try to go over every resource that i could find and i put a lot of time into this jesus. I searched the mat for at least two hours that’s the best.
